Alpenliebe pudding is easy and quick toffee pudding. It tastes as good as caramel pudding. So here’s an eggless tasty pudding. Try it , your kids will love it.
Required ingredients
- 2 cups full cream milk
- 12 alpenliebe or 10 werthers original toffees
- 1/2 tsp agar agar powder or 3 tsp gelatin powder
- Colorful sprinkles for garnishing
Directions & How to
- If using agar agar powder, mix it in milk, open the toffees and add it to the milk too.
- Bring milk to boil stirring continuously till the toffees dissolves completely. It might take around 3-4 minutes.
- Pour in small bowls, after it cools a little, refrigerate for 2-3 hours.
- Serve chilled garnished with some colorful sprinkles.
- If using gelatine, then first bring milk and toffees to boil and cook till toffees dissolve. Double boil the gelatine, cool it slightly and then mix it to the milk and cook for another 2 minutes. Transfer it to serving bowls, refrigerate and serve chilled garnished with sprinkles.
Thanks for this recipe. I was looking for a way to make a recipe with caramels.I used to come across many recipes in international sites but couldn’t adapt them as the ingredients were foreign/not easily available. I’ve bypassed literally thousands of recipes. I also wanted to know which toffees one could use in India and was searching for the melt-ability of alpenlibes which was what I was searching for when I landed here. I don’t know how you came up with this but I am so grateful you did.
