Baked Cauliflower

Here is a yummy dish of one of the healthiest vegetable Cauliflower. Baked cauliflower is cauliflower cooked in spices and then baked. Its a dish that will be enjoyed by all.
Required ingredients
- 1medium sized cauliflower- separate the florets
- 1 large onion - sliced
- 1 large capsicum- cubed
- 2 medium tomatoes - chopped
- 3-4 green chillies
- 1 tsp ginger paste
- 1 tsp garlic paste
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder - haldi
- 1 tsp coriander powder - dhania
- 2 tbsp finely chopped fresh coriander leaves
- Salt as per taste
- 1 egg -optional
- 2 tbsp clarified butter/ ghee
- 2 tbsp oil
Directions & How to
- Heat oil in a wok/kadhai. Add cumin seeds, when it splutters add onions and fry till it changes colour. Add ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, coriander powder and green chillies and cook for a minute.
- Add cauliflower, stir well, add capsicum, chopped tomatoes and salt, stir once and cook it covered for 5-6 minutes. * Dont over cook the veggies.
- When cool transfer it to a baking dish. Garnish it with chopped coriander leaves.
- If using egg, beat/whisk it lightly and pour it evenly over the dish.
- Vegetarians can just skip the egg and carry on using just the ghee in the next step.
- Heat ghee/clarified butter till smoking point and pour it over the egg.
- Bake the cauliflower in a preheated oven at 180o C for around 10-12 minutes.
- Serve hot.
