Required ingredients
- 1 chicken ( in small pieces)
- 1 medium sized onion finely sliced
- 2 medium sized onion paste
- 2 tsp ginger garlic paste
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 1 tsp garam masala powder
- 1/2 cup curd
- 2 tbsp posta paste( poppy seeds )
- 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
- 5-6 green chillies
- Salt to taste
- Oil as required
Directions & How to
- Fry finely sliced onions and keep aside.
- Slit the green chillies, take out the seeds with the tip of your knife. Blanch them in boiling water for 2-3 minutes.Keep aside.
- Heat oil in a pan, add onion paste and turmeric powder and saute for 2 minutes.
- Add ginger garlic paste and saute for another 2-3 minutes.
- Add yogurt and cook till oil separates.
- Then add the chicken and salt and let it cook till half done.
- Now add posta paste, coriander leaves, fried onions, blanched chillies and garam masala powder
- Mix well. cover and cook till chicken is nice and tender.
