Hot and sour Mushroom sauteed in tomato chilli sauce, is a easy quick fix dish that can be fixed in a very short time.
Required ingredients
- 200 grams mushrooms
- 10-12 flakes garlic
- 3 large tomatoes
- 1 large capsicum
- 1 tsp tomato sauce
- ½ tsp soya sauce
- ½ tsp vinegar
- ¼ tsp ginger powder
- ½ tsp chilli powder
- ½ tsp pepper powder
- Salt to taste
- A pinch of mono-sodium glutamate – ajinomoto
- 1 ½ tbsp oil
Directions & How to
- Cut mushrooms in quarters. Finely chop the garlic. Cut capsicum into cubes. Blanch the tomatoes, remove skin and cut into thin slices.
- In a small bowl mix soya sauce, tomato sauce and vinegar.
- Heat oil in a wok, add garlic, when it turns golden brown add tomatoes and salt. Cook it covered for 2 -3 minutes.
- Add chilli powder, pepper powder and ginger powder. Add mushrooms and capsicum and mix it well. Add the sauce mixture and mix it again, throw in a pinch of mono-sodium glutamate and sauté it well for around 3-4 minutes.
- Serve hot.
