Potato Meat balls is a simple and delicious recipe. It is made with ingredients that are easily available in your kitchen but the result is crispy meat balls from outside and soft from inside.
Required ingredients
- 250 g minced mutton
- 2 large potatoes, boiled and mashed
- 1 tsp white vinegar
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 1 tsp crushed garlic
- 1 tbsp coriander leaves, chopped
- 1 large onion chopped
- 2 green chillies
- 1 tsp garam masala powder
- Salt to taste
- Vegetable oil for deep frying
For coating
- 1 egg lightly beaten
- Bread crumbs
Directions & How to
- Season minced mutton with salt, pepper and vinegar and keep it in the refrigerator for ½ an hour.
- Heat 1 tbsp oil ii a frying pan; add minced mutton and fry for 4-5 minutes on high heat.
- Then add onion, garlic, coriander and chillies and cook till onions become soft. Mix in mashed potatoes and set aside to cool.
- When it cools down sprinkle garam masala and mix well with your hands. Make about 12- 15 balls and keep aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan. Dip each meat ball in egg and then roll in bread crumbs and fry till golden in colour.
- Serve with your favorite chutney or sauce.
