Tawa Fish is easy to cook and everyone will love its tangy and spicy taste.
Required ingredients
- 1 kg fish in small pieces
- 2 tbsp. gram flour (or as required for coating)
- Oil to shallow fry
For the marinade
- 1 tsp white vinegar
- 1 tsp garlic paste
- ½ tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp garam masala powder
- 1 tsp chilli powder
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Salt to taste
Directions & How to
- Mix all ingredients for the marinade and marinate the fish for about an hour.
- Before frying, add enough gram flour to absorb excess juice and mix well to coat.
- Heat oil in a non-stick frying pan, place few fish pieces on the pan without overcrowding it.
- On medium heat cook the fish on one side till crisp. Flip the pieces once to fry the other side.
- Serve with green chutney, lemon wedges and chat masala.
